Ferrari is developing sources of alternative energy and technology they develop KERS in Formula One. This is expressed by Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, Ferrari president.

New Ferrari with KERS Engine
KERS, or Kinetic Energy Recycling System works by utilizing the principle of energy that appear from the process of braking. KERS is basically a CVT gearbox in the combine with the flywheel rotates at the car brake. Stored energy can be used to assist acceleration or when passing in the junction.
